Some of the most successful individuals boast strong communication skills; the FasTracKids curriculum teaches your child how to make the most out of theirs. Each class has an intentional focus on improving speaking and listening skills. For example, throughout each lesson, children are encouraged to use full sentences and new vocabulary. Through the use of role-play and group activities, the children practice negotiation skills and join together as a team. Moreover, in each class children are asked to organize their thoughts into short presentations for their classmates. These presentations are videotaped providing an avenue for children to critique their own work and that of their classmates using a set criteria. The ultimate goal is to leave FasTracKids confident and able to communicate effectively

Your child will grow in their self-confidence and self-esteem, building a solid foundation for future learning.
A quality early childhood education is also a smart financial investment. Economist and Nobel Laureate James J. Heckman argues in an editorial from The Republican that “early intervention for disadvantaged children promotes staying in school, raises the quality of the work force, enhances the productivity of schools and has the effect of reducing crime, teen pregnancy and dependency on welfare. Those savings add up to a 60 percent return on the investment in early education.” Early education doesn’t just start in the classroom, it also starts at home. Parental involvement is vital to the confidence and educational development of children. Colin Rose and Malcom J. Nicholl wrote about parent involvement in the book Accelerated Learning for the 21st Century. An excerpt from that book talks about parental involvement and how it can change a child’s life
Our children are now called ‘digital natives’. Noted neurologist Bruce Perry states that digital learners brains are wired differently compared to learners in previous decades. The digital learner is adept at learning through a variety of methods, including multimedia formats. FasTracKids® believes that technology in the classroom should be used in ways that are appropriate for the age of the children. The FasTracKids learning system meets the needs of our digital learners by creating curriculum intentionally for the Interactive White Board, or the FasTrack® Learning Station. Students are actively engaged as they see images and videos, hear sounds and conversation and interact with learning games and activities. Their learning is enhanced by the use of technology as it creates a multi-sensory learning environment.
FasTracKids® is committed to encouraging every child to maximize his or her potential. FasTracKids classes are focused on helping children excel in creativity, communication, confidence, critical thinking and collaboration. Our Educational Zig-zagging method allows children to obtain information through exposure to visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning. This method allows FasTracKids to accommodate many different learning styles, while focusing on the development of different early learning skills. FasTracKids incorporates these elements in each structured lesson, providing opportunities for children to experience growth in each subject area while having a great time.
